Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Rolandis Summers began his journey to become a Gospel Singer at the age of twelve.  Rolandis grew up listening to his older brothers and sister singing at an early age which prompted him to join the youth choir at the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, and until this day he hasn’t stop singing.  Individuals such as his older brother Harold Summers , gospel musicians such as Paul Beasley of the Gospel Keynotes, The Williams Brothers, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Slim and the Supreme Angels, and lastly Lee Williams not only inspired him, but motivated him, motivated him to continue singing and staying true to his walk with the Lord.  He has accomplished many things during this journey from being a choir director, choir president, praise and worship leader, and also being the lead and manager of many quartet groups.

In his personal life, Rolandis has been married for the past 40 years to Diane Summers and resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Together they have four daughters and ten grandchildren.  In his down time when he is not performing, he enjoys watching basketball, football, and movies.  His main focus is staying in the Word of God and reading every day due to him being in the Ministry since 1989.  In the words of Rolandis Summers, “Guess what, God is not through with you yet!”

John (Tom) Brown was born in Americus, Georgia. He started singing at the age of 6, in the children’s choir at Mt Olive Baptist Church. He continued singing in school and church choirs throughout his youth years. He was a member of a male gospel group traveling to surrounding areas performing at different venues.

He entered the United States Air Force in 1973.  In 1975, he performed as a vocalist in the Air Force, Top’s in Blue. While serving in the Air Force, he sang with choirs in the Las Vegas community. He has been married to Gloria Brown for the past 49 years and has resided in Las Vegas since 1973. This union was blessed with to have one amazing daughter.

In 1977, he became a member of the Nellis Air Force Base gospel choir. While serving as one of the lead vocalist, he has performed with such artist as: The Temptations, Paul Anka, Glenn Smith, Wayne Newton and The Four Tops. He traveled with the choir performing in Arizona, California and throughout the Las Vegas community.  He performs as a soloist, at wedding, anniversaries, parties as well as other events.

In 1987, he was a youth vocal coach for students at the Rainbow School of Performing Arts in Las Vegas, NV.

Presently, he sings with a local Gospel Quartet ”VICTORIOUS MEN OF PRAISE” as Lead/Background vocalist, performing throughout the Las Vegas Community.

Melvin was born in Anderson County, South Carolina.  At the age of 3, his family moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he lived until he went into the Air Force.  While growing up he was exposed to singing from all sides of the family.  His Dad was a member of a quartet and later became a minister and also sang from the pulpit.  His Mom and her sister were members of a trio.  His Mom also sang in choirs all of her life.  He joined a youth choir where he sang for many years as he grew up.  After serving 25 years in the Air Force, he moved to Las Vegas.  He is currently a member of the Nellis Air Force Base Gospel Choir.  This choir has performed all over Las Vegas and surrounding communities.  He always had a burning desire to sing in a men’s group, but work schedules always made that impossible.  After the Victorious Men of Praise group formed he became a member of the group as a vocalist, continuing in the footsteps of his family.

Mack Smith was born in Alexandria, LA.  There were eight brothers along with three sisters.  He became a member of his church gospel quartet, the Golden Tones, at the young age of ten.  The Golden Tones had the opportunity to open a program where professional gospel groups were invited to come and sing in Alexandria.  It was one of the largest singing events in the city at the time.  He sang in his Jr. High School choir and was a member of the High School band.

After High School, he joined the Air Force.  He auditioned for the “Tops in Blues” competition, which toured and performed at military bases throughout the world.  He was selected to tour with the group, but declined because of family obligations.  While stationed in Germany, he also entered a talent show competition and won.

He participated in church choirs at McConnell AFB, KS, Whiteman AFB, MO and Nellis AFB, NV..  While stationed at Taegu Air Base, Korea, he was a member of the Roving Gospel Choir, which performed throughout Korea, and Japan.  The group’s performances were aired on Armed Forces Radio Network.

After retiring from the military, he moved back to Las Vegas.  It was then he became aware of the Victorious Men of Praise.  He mentioned to one of the members that he was available, if they ever needed another singer.  They eventually asked him to join the group.  He feels blessed to be a part of a group with such talented singers and musicians.
